Funded in part by a grant from the Jewish Federation/Valley Alliance and in partnership with Temple Aliyah, our 55+ Group is ideal for those curious and active adults looking for new experiences, community, intellectually stimulating discussions, and just plain fun.
Caring Community is a dedicated group of Temple Judea volunteers who support our fellow temple members in any way we can. Our goal is to perform mitzvot that are uplifting, like visiting the sick or homebound; offering support to bereaved families; sending words of love and mazal tov at times of celebration; and making phone calls that say, “We’re thinking of you...we care.”
Judeans for Justice
Judeans for Justice is Temple Judea’s team working on internal and external issues of community, power and justice. We are proud members of OneLA, a broad-based organization committed to community organizing and working together for social and economic change.
We are committed to Tikkun Olam -- healing the world -- through events and projects benefiting our community. Current partners include Project Chicken Soup, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, School on Wheels, SOVA, and other worthy beneficiaries.
