Senior Rabbi Search Committee formed

The Senior Rabbi Search Committee consists of 26 Temple members with various community connections.  For example, we have committee participants who have been members for decades and we have the experience and the institutional memory of five past Board Presidents.  We also have members with children of many different ages and members with the professional skills necessary to carry out our tasks well.

    • The criteria for selecting our next Senior Rabbi will come from the congregation through their participation in focus groups, surveys, and interviews.  The Committee’s actions will be a reflection of the community’s priorities.
    • The final decision in the process will be made by congregational vote which would empower the Board to offer the position to the appropriate candidate.
    • Below is a list of the committee members with a bit of personal background of each. To give you a little insight into the uniqueness of each individual, we have asked them to share “how Temple Judea has impacted their lives”.

Though not a deeply religious person, I am very spiritual. Temple Judea has given me a place to grow as a human being and a Jew.  My family has grown up at Temple and we have shared many life cycles events there.  Most of our dear friendships have been made at Temple Judea.
