THE PRIMARY JOB OF A PARENT |
The primary job of a parent is to teach. It is not being a child’s best friend, not being a human ATM machine nor a supplier of new clothes (or a car – when the child is older). It’s not about being an advisor or confidante, but rather is about teaching a child what they should or should not do in life. Besides ensuring a child’s physical and emotional safety, teaching your child ethics and values are the most important jobs a parent has. |

| Men's Group with Rabbi Dan Moskovitz |
The Men's Group with Rabbi Dan Moskovitz will meet at 7:30 PM on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Rabbi Dan's home.
Judaism says a great deal about a man's role in this world and in relationship with others. In this informal class, we will reflect on being a man today and how Judaism helps us understand the varied and complex aspects of our lives. An evening of male bonding. Drums are optional, pretzels will be served. Limited to 12 men.
Please RSVP at 818.758.3800. |
