Intellectually Challenging, Spiritually Inspiring

Temple Judea is known for its vibrant music program, bringing together some of the country’s finest Jewish musicians with our clergy for deeply meaningful prayer experiences. And if you love to sing, our bimah is open to you, whatever your age! From Kindergarten through adults, we have a myriad of opportunities for you to make music and deepen your connection to Judaism.

Concerts
Each year Temple Judea hosts a number of concerts and musical performances, including our summer Judea Bowl concert series continues to entertain, uplift, and inspire our congregants with the power of Jewish music and culture. Past performances have featured a variety of genres -- from Jewish choral and traditional folk music to Broadway and show tunes.

Adult Choir
Did you used to sing in high school or college? Do you remember that great sound, the power of an entire group creating harmonies together? Join the Temple Judea choir for the High Holy days (5 rehearsals in late summer), or throughout the year (the 3rd shabbat of each month). Bring your teenagers who sing too! While we do require that you sing on pitch and can hold a part, you do not need to be able to sight read or be a soloist. Anyone who loves Jewish music, wants to be a part of a special family, and wants to learn more about our prayers and liturgy is welcome.

Prayer Music
Prayer and Worship at Temple Judea is a shared experience - a partnership between our clergy and our community. Our services are open to all who wish to enter and experience our spiritual community (Jewish, interfaith, spiritually curious). Together through music, tradition, creativity and meaningful discussions, we encounter God and engage each other in moments of profound holiness. Our prayerbook (siddur) and music are designed to be accessible to Hebrew readers and those who are not. Our services are explanatory, relevant and thought-provoking. We offer a variety of experiences designed to meet individual worshippers where they are and guide them along a path to new spiritual connections. Come join us.
