New Jewish Book Club Launches in January

Temple Judea is forming a new book club directed by lay leadership to explore popular Jewish literature.  Our first meeting will be held on January 4, 2012, at 6 p.m. in the Wiener Library.  Please note this is a time change from the Adult Ed brochure.  Subsequent meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, except in March due to Purim, when it will be on the second Wednesday.

The first book on our reading list is "The People of the Book" by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Geraldine Brooks.  Take a few moments for yourself during the busy holiday season and read this wonderful book so you'll be ready to join in the discussion at our meeting.  We will also plan our future selections, so please bring your literary picks for the coming year.
