Hear from the experts on a range of issues from hazards of social media to allergies, puberty and childhood obesity. Providence Tarzana Medical Center and the Providence Tarzana Foundation will join Temple Judea in hosting a FREE Healthy Kids Forum. KCBS News Reporter Josh Rubenstein will serve as emcee. This three-hour community forum will include break out groups led by physicians from Providence Tarzana, who will give parents an opportunity to learn about pediatric health-related topics in an informal setting.
The Healthy Kids Forum and Temple Judea will also honor JJ Levenstein, M.D, for her 30 years of service to the families of the San Fernando Valley. The event begins at 12:30 p.m. with a vendor fair of local health and wellness releated businesses. The Healthy Kids Forum is free of charge and free child care is available during the event as well.
