Rabbi Bender invites you to her home for an evening with wine and cheese by the warm fireplace as she engages in an imaginary conversation with Masada. Examine texts and engage in a discussion about Israel now, in ancient times and in recent history. In past annual fireside chats, Rabbi Bender has had her conversation with historical characters. This year she takes a new approach by speaking with an ancient site that stirs up current questions about courage, valor, land and freedom.
