Temple Judea Chanukah Tot Shabbat and Puppet Show
Saturday, December 17 at 9:30 am.
Join us at Temple Judea as we celebrate Chanukah, Shabbat, and family! Featuring the award-winning Len Levitt and the Levity Puppets. Engage in a fun art project, then stay to socialize while your children play on the playground.

Temple Judea Menorah Lighting at Whole Foods 
Beginning Tuesday, December 20 at 5:30 pm. 
Whole Foods, 18700 Ventura Boulevard, Tarzana. 
The Temple Judea clergy lead a nightly community menorah lighting every evening of Chanukah (except 12/23). On the first night of Chanukah 12/20, join our cantor for a song session followed by yummy cookie decorating and art projects for the kids in the Whole Foods Cafe. On 12/22, join us for a special olive oil tasting experience following the menorah lighting at the Whole Foods Wine and Cheese Bar.

True Story of Chanukah – Temple Judea Study Session 
Wednesday, December 21, at 11:45 am. at Temple Judea 
Ever wonder about that miracle of oil, or how a tiny band of Jewish fighters could beat back the Greek-Assyrian army? Come on Wednesday morning and find out – plus we'll have latkes!

Temple Judea Chanukah Shabbat - Dinner & Service
Friday, December 23 - 5:00 pm Dinner, 6:15 pm Service at Temple Judea 
We've put a new spin on Chanukah! Our celebration begins with a delicious chicken & tasty latke dinner by our own wonderful Scott Roeb Catering. Bring a menorah and candles and you will shine with delight at our community candle lighting! We will have a fun craft project for the kids. Our music-filled Shabbat service invites your voice and spirit to join us! Bring a new unwrapped toy or a can of food to donate. Erev that 'Other' Holiday - Menorah, Movie & Chinese Food 
Saturday, December 24 at 6:00 pm. at Temple Judea 
Bring your friends to Temple Judea for a classic Jewish celebration held on the eve of that 'other' holiday. We'll begin with a delicious Chinese food dinner followed by Havdalah and a Menorah lighting. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the hilarious British comedy "Sixty-Six," a story about an English boy whose Bar Mitzvah unfortunately coincides with the World Cup Final. 5th Annual Brotherhood Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, December 25, 9 am to 12 pm. at Temple Judea 
Enjoy a morning with friends, coffee, and a yummy breakfast, brought to you by the Temple Judea Brotherhood. Cost: Adults & Teens: $9 Children (12 and under) $7 

Mitzvah Day Part II 
Sunday, December 25, from 11 am – multiple locations 
This year, make December 25th a second Mitzvah Day for you and your family. Participate in one of two community service events. Prepare lunch and eat with homeless families at the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission (click here to signup) or prepare lunch and eat with developmentally disabled young adults from The HELP Group (click here to signup) who can't be home with their families. RSVP required in advance.
