We're glad you are interested in Temple Judea!
While we are 65 years old (thanks to a handful of very visionary families back in the early 1950's who saw the need for a Reform congregation in what was then the "West Valley"!) we are also the newest on the block, having rebuilt our campus, literally from the ground (actually underground -- with additional parking) up as recently as 2011.
We pride ourselves on our warm, inviting atmosphere, our deep commitment to Jewish values, and our love of Judaism. We value learning and personal growth, and see it as our mission to provide ways for all our members to move forward Jewishly, whatever that means to you.
Like most synagogues, we are a membership organization. Members make a financial contribution to the community, which then allows you access to our schools, our classes, our clergy, participating in acts of tikkun olam and enjoying all the benefits of being part of a Jewish sacred community, where you matter.
Please visit us anytime! Friday night Erev Shabbat services are a great way to get to know us and for us to know you. And they happen EVERY Friday evening at 6:15. Come casual and be ready to meet new friends!
If you are ready to join, we have included links to a few forms below. But don't hesitate to call if you have any questions!
Applications for financial assistance are also below. They are subject to approval by a committee.
We do not want finances to be barrier to joining our community. If you cannot afford full membership, we will work with you to find a mutually acceptable arrangement. Please click here to fill out an application for Financial Assistance.
